The Bristol Owners’ Club‘s 2007 season got underway today with the Chiltern Section’s now-traditional lunch at the Firecrest Inn near Wendover. It’s not too far from me, and is a nice trip to get a pub roast dinner, meet up with old friends and make new ones, and a chance to chat about cars for a couple of hours. As usual a decent turn out, with a 400, 3 403s, a 409, the 410, a 411, 3 412s and a 603 all in attendance, bearing 20-odd Bristoleers. The usual Firecrest icy wind was absent, so there was much standing around inspecting cars in the car park. The 400 in particular was inspected, as it was new to the section. (Although purely by chance I saw it parked in Marlborough High Street yesterday – small world…).
